60 and Better Healthy Ageing Program - Charleville and District

60 and Better programs are managed by older people and are located throughout Queensland. Committees meet regularly to plan activities, discuss health issues and decide on directions for the program. The Charleville District Healthy Ageing Program covers Charleville, Augathella, Morven, Cunnamulla, Yowah and places in between. All 60 and Better activities have an emphasis on keeping the body and the mind fit and active. They encourage new experiences, new friendships and open opportunities for new learning. Some of the activities available are as follows - Seniors Gym, Thai Chi and water exercise, Scrabble, cards games, walk group, boxing fitness, pamper, craft  and Health Chat & Check. Other activities include guest speakers and luncheons.
