buttonToowoon Bay is nestled on a headland between two beautiful beaches and close to the parklands of The Entrance and Tuggerah Lake. Originally a base for Chinese fishermen in the 1820s, it is still sometimes referred to as Chinamans Bay. Its clear waters are patrolled throughout summer and are great for swimming and fishing. Nearby Wyrrabalong National Park borders Tuggerah Lake and preserves the last significant littoral rainforest on the Central Coast. On the peninsula side is Norah Head and its historic lighthouse.
