Known for its friendly community atmosphere and stunning landscapes, visitors to Nimmitabel can explore its historic buildings, enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing at Lake Williams, and savour the local culinary delights. With its idyllic setting and warm hospitality, Nimmitabel invites travellers to experience the serene charm of country living in the heart of New South Wales. You can explore the historic village including Geldmacher House and Mill and St Andrew's Catholic Church by taking a walk around town. There is a self-guided brochure available from the Cooma Visitors Centre. Nimmitabel host a Steampunk at Altitude festival on the first weekend of May where there are a variety of activities and entertainment for the whole family.
