Richmond Valley Community

Richmond Valley Council has an approximate area of 3,000 km².

It is comprised of 36 suburbs including Backmede, Bora Ridge, Bungawalbin, Camira, Casino, Clearfield, Clovass, Codrington, Coombell, Doonbah, Evans Head, Fairy Hill, Greenridge, Irvington, Kippenduff, Leeville, Mongogarie, Naughtons Gap, New Italy, North Casino, Rappville, Rileys Hill, Shannon Brook, Six Mile Swamp and Stratheden plus parts of another 11 suburbs.

It is comprised of the localities of Ellangowan, Myrtle Creek and Tabbimoble plus parts of Busbys Flat, Gibberagee and Mount Marsh.

It is surrounded by the councils of Ballina, Clarence Valley, Kyogle and Lismore.

It is within the state electorate of Clarence.

It is within the federal electorate of Page.
