About This Community
Livingstone Shire Council has an approximate area of 47,000 km².
It is comprised of 50 suburbs including Adelaide Park, Bangalee, Barlows Hill, Barmaryee, Barmoya, Bondoola, Bungundarra, Causeway Lake, Cawarral, Cobraball, Cooee Bay, Coorooman, Coowonga, Emu Park, Etna Creek, Glendale, Glenlee, Greenlake, Hidden Valley, Inverness, Ironpot, Jardine, Joskeleigh, Keppel Sands and Kinka Beach.
It is comprised of the localities of Byfield, Canal Creek, Canoona, Farnborough, Kunwarara, Marlborough, Mount Gardiner, Nankin, Ogmore, Shoalwater, Stanage, Stockyard, The Keppels and Thompson Point.
It is surrounded by the councils of Central Highlands, Gladstone, Isaac and Rockhampton.
It is comprised of the state electorate of Keppel plus parts of Mirani.
It is comprised of parts of the Capricornia federal electorate.
