It is comprised of 39 suburbs including Alberton, Angle Park, Birkenhead, Blair Athol, Clearview, Croydon Park, Dudley Park, Enfield, Ethelton, Exeter, Ferryden Park, Gepps Cross, Glanville, Greenacres, Hampstead Gardens, Hillcrest, Kilburn, Klemzig, Largs Bay, Largs North, Lightsview, Manningham, Mansfield Park, New Port and North Haven plus parts of another 12 suburbs.

It is comprised of parts of the Yatala locality.

It is surrounded by the councils of Campbelltown City, Charles Sturt City, Prospect City, Salisbury City, Tea Tree Gully City, The City Of Norwood Payneham And St Peters and The Town Of Walkerville.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Cheltenham, Croydon, Dunstan, Enfield, Florey, Lee, Playford, Port Adelaide and Torrens.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Adelaide, Makin, Port Adelaide and Sturt.
