Boroondara City Community

Boroondara Council has an approximate area of 60 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Ashburton, Balwyn, Balwyn North, Camberwell, Canterbury, Deepdene, Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Kew and Kew East plus parts of Glen Iris and Surrey Hills.

It is surrounded by the councils of Banyule City, Manningham City, Monash City, Stonnington City, Whitehorse City and Yarra City.

It is comprised of the state electorates of Hawthorn and Kew plus parts of Box Hill and Burwood.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Higgins and Kooyong.
