It is comprised of parts of the localities of Anakie, Balliang and Little River.
It is surrounded by the councils of Golden Plains Shire, Moorabool Shire, Queenscliffe Borough, Surf Coast Shire and Wyndham City.
It is comprised of the state electorates of Bellarine, Geelong and Lara plus parts of South Barwon.
It is comprised of the federal electorate of Corio plus parts of Corangamite.
