It is surrounded by the suburbs of Barossa Goldfields, Chain Of Ponds, Cromer, Cudlee Creek, Flaxman Valley, Forreston, Gould Creek, Gumeracha, Humbug Scrub, Inglewood, Kersbrook, Lower Hermitage, Millbrook, Mount Crawford, Mount Pleasant, One Tree Hill, Paracombe, Pewsey Vale, Sampson Flat, Springton, Upper Hermitage, Williamstown and Yattalunga.

It is surrounded by the localities of Barossa, Jutland, Munno Para, Talunga and Yatala.

It is comprised of parts of the councils of Adelaide Hills, Playford City and The Barossa.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Morialta, Napier, Newland and Schubert.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Mayo and Wakefield.
