About Us
Marlee Hall and Progress Association Incorporated is a small, non profit organisation located 30 minutes drive north west of Taree. The organisation is registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission. It aims to advance social and public welfare by promoting community health and wellbeing through the delivery of social, cultural, recreational and environmental events and activities that encourage and nurture community participation and engagement. These functions are conducted in the local hall, which is community owned, the hub for all community events and accessible to all ethnic, religious, cultural and socio economic groups. It is the perfect venue in which programs and activities can be held that foster community spirit where relationships can be forged, developing a sense of belonging and community connectedness. The diverse, inclusive environment encourages and values the contributions made by people of various backgrounds and builds a healthier, more vibrant and more inclusive community.
