About Us
Annually ADFAS Newcastle offers nine entertaining presentations on fine arts and design including stories of the artists and makers and their lives. Speakers come from Australia and the Arts Society in the UK. Talks are accessible to everyone (no need to be an expert) and thoroughly enjoyable. Check out the 2023 program.
After each presentation, get to know others with an interest in the arts by joining us for light refreshments (wine and finger food). It's also an opportunity to meet and chat with the speaker.
Presentations take place monthly at 6:30pm on a Monday at the Hunter Theatre, Hunter School of the Performing Arts, Broadmeadow. (Enter the Theatre from Cameron St.)
Members of the public are invited either to join ADFAS Newcastle (annual membership includes entry to all presentations) or come as a guest for the occasional presentation. Guests may attend up to three presentations each year (just register by e-mailing [email protected] a week or so before the event and pay on arrival).
