The Child Health Service provides a range of free community health and support services for children aged from birth to 8 years:

  • Key age health checks in the red book
  • Support with breastfeeding and early feeding
  • Starting solids
  • Sleep
  • General parenting

Free parent groups are available including New Parent group, Triple P, Postnatal Wellbeing group and Circle of Security group.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advanced Health Workers are available to provide free and confidential cultural support and holistic care.

Free interpreter services are available on request. You can ask to book an interpreter for any appointment.
