Our organsiation teaches and promotes traditional Japanese JKA Shotokan Karate and is affiliated with the Japan Karate Association (JKA) HQ in Tokyo, The JKA is the oldest and largest Karate organisation in the world and most agree the best style of karate available. We foster good values as well as fitness, anti-bullying techniques, self-defence through our traditional methods of teaching which are scientifically tested by HQ in Japan. The JKA are the only karate organisation recognized Governement and we are a non profit incorporated group.

Membership is open to children from 7 years onwards (please call if your child is younger as some exceptions have been made depending on circumstances), women and men of ages and fitness levels or abilities are most welcome.

Our local instructor (Sensei) has been practicing JKA Karate since 1977, and holds a 4th Dan black belt, he has lived, trained, competed and taught in Japan for many years and has also competed at the highest level in Europe and Australia with teaching experience in both areas.
