Positive steps to parenting

IMPACT's Postive Start Parenting Program is a free service for young mums and/or expectant mothers aged 15 to 24 years with children under preschool age. IMPACT’s support worker will help you develop life and parenting skills, offer advice on other community services available to you and provide a safe and child-friendly environment that you feel comfortable in. Family networks, friends and mentors are also welcome to come along to the sessions with you if you’d prefer. Our group meets weekly and one-on-one assistance can be provided when you need it. Participation in the service is voluntary.
