About Us
St John Ambulance Qld is proud to have an active team of volunteers supporting us to provide vital services to people in the community. We have a diverse range of volunteering opportunities suitable for all skill levels and time constraints.
- Health & Medical Services - learn new skills by providing first aid support at community events
- First Aid in Schools - be part of a team that educates students in first aid awareness
- Hospital services - provide essential support services to patients and visitors (Logan Hospital & Caboolture Hospital)
- Community volunteering - join our movement to combat social isolation by visiting older people in the community
- Transport driver - working as a larger team, volunteers provide door-to-door transport in a St John vehicle (north Brisbane, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, Townsville)
- Telephone services - provide regular phone calls to older people in our community
- Social support - interact with a wide range of individuals within the aging community and accompany them to undertake social activities and social trips (north Brisbane, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Bundaberg)
