About Us
The role of the Burdekin Shire Youth Council is to provide a youth-driven forum that exists as a key engagement body for the purpose of suggesting ideas, voicing issues and concerns, as well as promoting community spirit and a sense of belonging for all young people of our district. Youth Council exists to secure a link between youth and the Burdekin Shire Council and to bring light to Council on matters affecting young people.
