General Youth Services
About Us
Our organisation teaches young people 'community values' and provides them with essential life skills. We focus on the most disadvantaged and those at-risk of becoming involved in anti-social behaviour. We have been conducting Self-esteem & Leadership Youth Camps and our 'Way of Community' In-school Workshops since 2001, and are currently in the process of expanding our youth support services to include mentoring, conservation, and marine activities. Our organisation's work in Youth Prevention and Early Intervention was recognised at a major European Youth Prevention Conference held in Sweden in 2010, and as Finalists in the 2017 Telstra Business Awards (charities category).
