Gold Coast Youth Service (GCYS)

A youth worker is available  Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for drop in or phone enquiries; shower, toiletries and laundry facilities; Emergency Relief funds disributed when available, information, advice, advocacy and referrals, support around finding accommodation, Centrelink Health, drug & alcohol issues, legal issues, education employment and with relationships. Youth Workers can provide one-on-one support over a period of time, support to achieve goals set by the young person; case management support around such things as long-term accommodation; budgetting, relationships.
