Lockyer Valley Art Society Inc

The Lockyer Valley Art Society Inc.(LASI) has been established in the Lockyer Valley for over 30 years. Set in bush surroundings, the Art Centre between located between Ipswich and Gatton just off the Warrego Highway. Members meet weekly for activities such as pottery, social arts, crafts, watercolour, acrylics, pastels and/or mixed media to name just a few. LASI’s aim is to promote art and artists in the community. It also supports artists in their endeavours to improve their skills and enjoy new ways of self expression.

The Center is fully equipped with a large open air-conditioned workshop space including table and chairs, generous kitchen, meeting room and a free creative lending library. In addition to this, LASI also offers ‘in house firing’ for potters with an onsite kiln and an amazing outside and undercover work area. New members are always welcome.
