About Us

Amputees Queensland Inc offers individual and family support, hospital visitation, advocacy, social activities, information and referral. Medical aids to new amputees are also provided.  Peer support is available pre and post amputation, click here to request a  peer support visit.  If you would like to volunteer and become a peer support volunteer and help people with amputation or limb loss in Queensland please click here.

Ideally located at Ben Matthews Playground Community Centre in Logan Central we provide fortnight information sessions and support through our Healthy Ageing Hub as well as our weekly exercise programs.  Visit our website here to be kept up to date on our events, information sessions and exercise programs.

We are also currently coordinating an Intergenerational Program which runs weekly at a local childcare centre, we bring the young and young at heart together to play, read and share stories.  The program is a 2 hour commitment, you will need to be able to drive and hold a Blue Card.  Please email [email protected] if you would like more information or to receive a call back to discuss the opportunity.
