Bassett Park Hall & Showgrounds

Bassett Park is home to Roma’s racetrack, showgrounds and rodeo grounds. Only a few kilometres from the CBD, it is close to accommodation and the Roma Airport. Bassett Park can hold 10,000 attendees in an open-air environment, and up to 350 in a formal seating arrangement. The size of the venue allows for multiple activities or attractions to occur simultaneously.

Big Rig Parklands

The Big Rig Oil Patch and Night Show is one of the region’s premier attractions. The surrounding parklands are also a wonderful feature. Home to a large duck pond, historical slab hut and the miniature train, ‘The Roma Express’, it is a lovely outdoor venue. There are a range of rooms and spaces available within the facility, and onsite catering is available.

The Cobb & Co Changing Station houses an amazing 25,000 litre freshwater inland aquarium, Cobb & Co Store Museum, Surat on Balonne Gallery, Visitor Information Centre & Public Library offering Centrelink and Queensland Government Agent Program (QGAP) services.

Country Universities Centre (CUC) Maranoa

Organisations can hire the training room at CUC Maranoa. It is free for not for profit organisations and charities. The training room has full video conferencing facilities and can seat up to 10 people. There is access to a full accessibility toilet and tea and coffee making facilities.
