About Us
ADFAS Noosa Inc is a member of the Association of Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (ADFAS), which is in the process of being rebranded to ArtsNational. It is one of 38 ADFAS societies in Australia that offer their members a series of monthly informative and entertaining, illustrated talks relating to the fine arts. These talks are given by fine arts specialists - visiting from the UK or based in Australia. ADFAS is affiliated to The Arts Society in the UK which has a register of 5,000 specialist speakers.
ADFAS Noosa meets on a Saturday afternooon at St Mary's Church in Tewantin which provides a comfortable venue in a parkland setting with professional audio visual equipment. The one hour talks are complemented by a friendly social gathering after in the church hall where wine and nibbles are served. There are some 140 members and visitors/non-members are welcome to anyone of the 8 talks in the year with a fee being due at the door.

The aims of ADFAS are:
• the promotion and advancement of aesthetic education;
• the cultivation and study of the decorative and fine arts; and
• the preservation of our cultural and artistic heritage.
