Stroke Foundation: StrokeSafe Volunteer Speaker Program

Our StrokeSafe volunteer speakers are trained in public speaking and experienced in delivering life-saving messages about stroke. Our volunteers cover a range of issues that will help your organisation or group better understand stroke and how it can be prevented including; what a stroke is, how to recognise the signs of stroke, what to do if someone is having a stroke, how to prevent stroke.

Ideally located in Logan Central we provide information and support through our Healthy Ageing Hub as well as our weekly exercise programs. Fully accessible, purposely renovated for people with disability to ensure full accessibility.

Limbs 4 Life is the peak body for amputees in Australia and was founded as an incorporated charity in 2004. Limbs 4 Life provides services to thousands of amputees and their care givers, who rely on the programs and services for assistance prior to, or after a limb amputation.
