Paroo Shire Hall

Cunnamulla & District Show Society

The Cunnamulla & District Show Society runs the annual Cunnamulla Agricultural Show, which showcases the districts local talents, industries and achievements. They also host many important community events throughout the year.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Officer

SWHHS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Officers and Health Workers advocate on behalf of and provide support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients, their families and carers throughout their healthcare journey including liaising with clinical staff to ensure culturally appropriate communication and services are provided.

Aged Care Accommodation

Aged Care Accommodation is available at the Cunnamulla Hospital. A facility for the residential care of elderly or disabled people.

Aged Care Assessment

The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT), conduct comprehensive assessments of the care needs of older people with complex needs and help them access the most suitable types of care, including approval for Commonwealth subsidised aged care. They are assessed for eligibility for care under the Aged Care Act 1997, with approval subject to a decision by an ACAT delegate.

Cardiac Nurse

SWHHS Cardiac Nurse treat and care for patients with a variety of heart diseases or conditions. Country Education Foundation Of Paroo

Country Education Foundation of Paroo provides financial assistance and support to local youth to help them achieve their post high school education & training. We also administer the Wal Dunsdon Memorial Scholarship is open to students Paroo, Bulloo, Murweh, Quilpie or Balonne Shires studying a full-time, agriculture-based course in Australia.

Cunnamulla Golf Club

The Cunnamulla Golf course is an 18 hole course comprising of dirt fairways and sand greens. Tee up is compulsory. River gums and Coolibah trees line some of the fairways and in a good season wildlife can be spotted.

Cunnamulla Multipurpose Health Service

The PHC is a collaboration of the hospital and health service’s GP Clinic and the Cunnamulla Aboriginal Corporation for Health (CACH), and provides a variety of primary health care services to the wider community.

SWHHS Dietetic provide expert nutrition and diet advice for clients, their families and carers across all age groups.
