Famous not only for the infamous “Eulo Queen” hotel named after her but also for the abundant local produce and product and craft which can all be purchased in the town. Honey along with other natural products made from bee's wax are produced at Eulo for the local and national market. Eulo has many attractions including the Lizard Lounge, the life size Diprotodon statue, the Bilby Burrow art and craft gallery, and experience a hot artesian mud bath ask the locals about the recent megafauna discoveries! Eulo has one of the densest Megafauna fields in Australia. The Diprotodon statue welcomes you into Eulo and there are fossils displayed in the store. Artesian water opened up the Outback and the unique town of Eulo due to its position on the banks of the pristine Paroo River. A memorable time can be had swimming, fishing, yabbying and camping under the stars on the river banks. If totally secluded camping is your thing, head west across the river and turn left after 900 metres. This sign posted track will take you to the absolute peace and tranquillity of the Billabong. Teeming with water birds the Billabong offers many secluded camping spots on the water’s edge. Of course when camping in and around Eulo, they do ask you leave nothing behind but your foot prints.
