Boomerang Bags Stanthorpe
We are a group of volunteers that are passionate about reducing reliance on plastic bags. We take reclaimed fabrics and make reusable bags. We operate from a private/permanent area of The Summit Hall and have a purpose made centre with sewing machines, eating area and kitchenette, plus reverse cycle air conditioning to keep our volunteers comfortable. We come together each Tuesday from 9am to 2pm.

Granite Belt Neighbourhood CentreThe program aims to assist individuals and families by providing them with fresh food, allowing them to save money for other essential expenses like bills. This program is supported by generous donations from local Aldi and IGA stores, as well as local farmers. A team of volunteers collects these donations. The quantity of food available varies based on donations received.

Granite Belt Wildlife Carers Inc
Granite Belt Wildlife Carers Inc (GBWC ) was formed by a group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of orphaned, injured and sick native wildlife. GBWC is based in Stanthorpe, but our work covers the geographical area bordered by the NSW/Qld Border, Texas, Allora, Killarney, Warwick, Liston and everywhere on the Stanthorpe Plateau.
