A drug and alcohol treatment service to individuals and families living in the Tablelands community. The program utilises a harm-minimisation methodology. The program assists individuals, families, and the community to minimise the use, and the harm caused by alcohol and other drugs.

A program to reduce Drug and Alcohol related harms of affected and at-risk young people. Includes assertive case management, care planning and coordination for youth with Alcohol & Other Drugs issues and complex needs in the locations specified - Support young people through their treatment journey through both internal services provided and referral pathways.

We offer counselling, advice, information, support and referral as well as specialist alcohol and other drugs counselling to young people. Available on-site or through outreach services. Better Together Community Centre

Better Together Community Centre provides free access to a variety of resources to assist people in improving their lives and general wellbeing. Resource access at the Centre includes; computers, printing, fax, phones, shower facilities, washing machine & dryer facilities. We also offer social supports through programs such as Emergency Relief and Personal support.

Care Finder Services - MHHS and CHHS2

A specialist support service dedicated to helping vulnerable older Queenslanders who require intensive supports to access aged care and other services to live safely at home in their communities. Footprints Community Limited covers Mackay Hospital and Health Service region and the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service 2 region.

Community Home Support Program

Our Home Maintenance & Minor Modifications Service helps seniors and the frail-aged continue to live safely in their homes. Better Together also offers Allied Health services, with a dedicated social worker who works with the elderly to ensure their social and mental wellbeing.

Emergency Relief

Better Together Community Centre provides basic material and financial support for community members experiencing personal and/or a financial crisis.

Family Support Program

Counselling and support for people who want understanding and what to do when things are not working well within their family. Our trained psychologists can help on matters such as childhood development, family relationships, mental health and well-being, communication and social skills. Free to families with children 18 or under.

Intensive Family Support

Helps families with complex and multiple needs to nurture, protect and keep their children safe. We do this by working directly with the family to help them see the way through to a better future; to set goals, make plans, develop actions and tasks that will support them to achieve their goals.
