Ability Hearing and Balance are Accredited Audilogists with 20 years experience in the hearing industry. Nick and Heidi Modrovich were the previous owners of AudioClinic Tasmanian and have set up this second hearing business to provide a completely independent, Tasmanian owned option for the community. Our clinic is the only Tasmanian owned hearing clinic in the Kingborough region.

We provide earwax micro-suction, a gentle and effective alternative to ear syringing. Our charges are low compared to other service providers and are preformed by Audiologists. Pension and concession discounts are available. DVA Gold Card Holders can access earwax micro-suction for free at our clinic as a thank you. We do not charge for the appointment if no earwax is found on the day. Aged Care Facility visits available on request.

We fit hearing aids of all brands and do not have any financail affiliation with any manufacturer. We offer low cost 12 month payment plans on all hearing aids. Eligible pensioners can access the subsidised Commonwealth Hearing Services Program as we are an accredited provider with the government services. Pensioners can access direct bluetooth streaming hearing aids as their free to client device, allowing them to stream phonecalls directly into the hearing aids. Contact us to see if they suit you. We are experts in troubleshooting complex hearing aid issues, if you are not happy with your existing hearing aids, considering transferring to our clinic to see what our experienced audiologists can do for you.

We are the only clinic in Tasmanian to offer a full suite of balance/vestibular testing.

We look after children from 5 years of age with hearing tests, and Central Auditory Processing Tests.

We also provide custom earplugs for snoring, noise, music, and swimming.
