parkrun - Traralgon

This is a two lap, out and back course, starting near the footbridge from the tennis courts, heading North along the footpath and following Traralgon Creek to the turnaround point on the path near Waterford Court. Then head back to the starting point, turn and complete a second lap, finishers will continue past the start and turnaround point for another 40 metres to the finish line. Facilities There is a toilet block approximately 300 metres from the start, located near the netball courts off Breed Street. There is a water fountain near the netball clubhouse approximately 150 metres from the start. Getting There Location of startThe run starts near the footbridge from the tennis courts. Getting there by public transportThe nearest train station is Traralgon Station. Approximately 1.2km in a Northerly direction along Franklin St to the course (See directions on foot). Latrobe Valley Bus Lines offer limited options to arrive at Agnes Brereton Park on time, Route 40 stops in Breed St at 7.27am and Route 45 stops in Franklin St at the Tennis Centre at 7.04am. For those using public transport from out of town it may be best to get a taxi or walk from Traralgon Plaza to the course. Getting there on footFrom the town centre, Agnes Brereton Park is approximately 900 metres along Franklin St, turn left into Davidson Street, through the tennis centre car and turn left over the bridge into Agnes Brereton Park to the start line. Getting there by roadThere are 200 parking spaces available in the ASIC car park located on the Eastern side of Franklin St near the Moore St intersection. This is an ideal location with just a short warm up walk to the start. There may also be parking in the tennis centre and the netball courts car parks: however if the netball or tennis is on then these car parks may be full. If parking in other streets please be mindful of the potential impact on residents. Post Run Coffee Every week we grab a post parkrun coffee in a local café.
