About Us
My Days (Independence Support)
At OC Connections we encourage and support people to be involved in a wide range of activities based on personal interests and their individual goals.
Our Day Support program offers the opportunity for individuals to pursue activities that focus on everyday life skills, like cooking, getting fit, developing skills to access the community and exploring favourite hobbies.
Our Day Support activities are offered on site at our main centre at Warrigal Road, Oakleigh, in one of our Community Hubs, or in the community.
Our centre-based activities help provide a base in which participant's become familiar and feel safe, allowing them to build the confidence to engage in new activities, learn new skills, interact with friends and build a community.
Community activities can take place at recreation venues, in parks, markets, farms, schools, theatres, shopping centres and more. They allow participants to build independence and confidence through exploring new environments, meeting new people and taking on new challenges.
