African Australia Welfare Bureau (AAWB) is a welfare, support and resource group working with NGOs and government departments, individuals and communities to make a difference in the lives of African Migrants in Australia to support self-reliance, integrated, sustainable and flourishing migrant communities.

Big Group Hug

Big Group Hug is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organisation that supports vulnerable and disadvantaged Victorian families in need by providing new and pre-loved goods to help these families care for their children, aged from newborn to 16-year-old.

Case management is available to Emergency Relief clients with complex needs that require one off or ongoing support to work through a range of issues.

WCC is one of the key providers of Emergency Relief in the City of Whittlesea.

Encompass Care

Fresh fruit & Veg, bread, non-perishable food and toiletries. Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:00am - 3:00pm. Community cafe - Tuesdays 10:30am-12:30pm. Mainly Music - Tuesday 9:20am-11:30am.

Food Relief

The food relief program is run solely by volunteers. Through the food relief, Liberty church assists those in financial hardship by supplying food parcels. They not only have their physical needs met, but receive prayer and pastoral support from the leaders and volunteers.

Whittlesea Ministries Inc. Foodshare- can help with fruits and vegetables provided by second bite. Other items such as bread as available. It is located at Whittlesea Uniting Church 26 forest Street, Whittlesea. Phone number is 9716 2340 or 0407 348 599 and is open on Tuesdays 12.00pm – 3.00pm and Wednesdays from 11.00am to 2.00pm and no appointments are necessary.

Our Housing Brokerage and Support Project is fighting homelessness in the City of Whittlesea and helping those who are struggling to have a stable and secure roof over their heads.
