About Us
Albany Animal Welfare exists to:
- Rescue companion and stray animals from unnecessary euthanasia;
- Re-home unwanted pets from private surrenders and local and regional pounds;
- Support animal welfare education for the public benefit;
- Encourage and coordinate sterilisation drives; and
- Work collaboratively with other like-minded groups and organisations.

Volunteer Notes
Foster carers for animals (cats/dogs/puppies/kittens), short term or long term. Volunteers for the OpShop can range from sorting/processing donations, serving customers, cleaning, stocking the floor/shelves or various administration duties.
