Connected AU was born out of this concern, with a focus on helping people who might be isolated, vulnerable and lonely. Mea built a free online platform to connect and engage people, and The Letterbox Project became the foundation of this platform.

Excursions

We offer affordable door-to-door social excursions for seniors, accommodating varying levels of age-related mobility and cognition. We have our own fleet of modern buses and vans so that we can collect clients at home and drop them safely back again.

Friends Day Out

A group of people going places, We plan the programs, and always try to find places that we haven't been to before, or try to keep it as interesting as possible. Organize the transport and fund raising. Run personally by Co-ordinator with keen interests in organising and running the social group program. The program caters for Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Golden Aged Club

Our Golden Age Club provides an opportunity for seniors to get together at a fixed location every week. We run activities daily from Mondays to Fridays for different cultural groups and a fortnightly dance party for seniors from all backgrounds. We also offer mystery excursions to regional locations and weekly local excursions to places of interest in and around Perth.

Social Clubs & Activities

Our activities are organised according to interest and ability. Regular social activities are held at accessible and safe venues around the Perth metro area, mainly at our Support Centre in Belmont. Transport is available and morning and afternoon tea are provided.
