About Us

The Midwest health region of Western Australia covers more than 605,000 square kilometres, approximately one quarter of the total land mass of WA, and services a population over 64,000 concentrated along the coast. The region is located in the northern central area of Western Australia and incorporates three health districts - Gascoyne, Geraldton, Midwest and Murchison.

The Midwest provides hospital and community based health care from 17 sites across the region comprising hospitals, health centres and nursing posts, with the Geraldton Health Campus being the regional health campus. WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Midwest delivers a range of services including:
