Amity Health - Narrogin

At Amity Health, we understand that living in country regions can make accessing allied health services and programs challenging.  In the Southern Wheatbelt we provide the following:

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing & Resiliency Program:  Through group and individual support programs, we encourage social health and wellbeing, while nurturing spirituality and cultural integrity. This program is offered in Narrogin only.

Integrated Chronic Disease Care Program:  We provide Care Coordination and allied health services to support clients to manage their health conditions. The program requires a GP referral. It is for clients who have, or are at risk of developing, diabetes, heart disease, or respiratory disease. 

Integrated Primary Mental Health Care Program:  Amity Health offers mental health care services providing counselling to address emotional or behavioural challenges, anxiety, depression, stressful life events and any situation that may impact on mental well-being.

Integrated Team Care Program:  Aimed at supporting Aboriginal people with an eligible chronic disease referred by their GP. The program is aimed at supporting clients to access allied health and specialist care, including a range of aids and equipment to better manage their health.  The service area covers Southern Wheatbelt towns. 

Primary Mental Health Care Services in Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) program: We provide mental health services for those living with mild to moderate mental issues at Karinya Residential Care and Residency by Dillons.

Child & Parent Support Program:  The service is mainly for vulnerable families and aims to help parents and carers so that their children are linked in with other services in Narrogin. The program also runs a range of events and activities for the wider community to enjoy.
