About Us
Pathways is an evidence-based Tier 4 service providing intensive therapeutic day services in addition to educational support to children with complex social, behavioural, mental health and developmental issues. Pathways is suitable for children aged 0-12. Referrals are accepted from Tier 3 services such as CAHS Mental Health, Child Development Services and other specialised services for children.
The service operates Monday to Friday supporting families from metropolitan Perth as well as rural and remote areas of WA. Our team consists of a broad range of mental health clinicians with training and experience in nursing, social work, psychiatry, occupational therapy, clinical psychology, speech pathology, teaching, art and play therapy, and administration services.
Referrals to Pathways are considered from:
- CAHS Mental Health
- Child Development Centres
- Mental Health and or private health practitioners
- Department for Child Protection and Family Support
- School of Special Educational Needs - Behaviour and Engagement.
