About Us

The Centre for Cerebral Palsy Association provides a range of unique services for both children and adults with cerebral palsy - services which are not available in the general community. Programs are integrated within the community where possible.Therapy programs assist children to develop the skills they require to participate in family, school and community life and also to help their family manage. Services for adults with cerebral palsy focus on helping them to participate in community life, live in community housing and participate in further education, employment or valued alternative day occupations. These programmes are supported by specialist services such as an Equipment and Applied Technology Clinic and respite care and accommodation facilities. Volunteers are always required to assist with a variety of tasks. Services within the Association aim to enable people with disabilities to develop competencies, be self determining and maximise life opportunities. The Association also aims to assist in promoting positive community attitudes and responses towards people with disabilities.
