Litchfield Community

Litchfield Council has an approximate area of 3,100 km².

It is comprised of 30 suburbs including Bees Creek, Berry Springs, Black Jungle, Channel Island, Coolalinga, Daly, Fly Creek, Freds Pass, Girraween, Glyde Point, Gunn Point, Herbert, Holtze, Howard Springs, Hughes, Humpty Doo, Knuckey Lagoon, Lambells Lagoon, Livingstone, Lloyd Creek, Manton, Mcminns Lagoon, Micket Creek, Middle Point and Murrumujuk.

It is comprised of the localities of Acacia Hills, Blackmore, Darwin River, Koolpinyah, Shoal Bay, Wak Wak and Weddell.

It is surrounded by the councils of Coomalie Shire, Cox-daly, Darwin, Elrundie, Marrakai-dougla and Palmerston.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Daly, Goyder and Nelson.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Lingiari and Solomon.
