Lingiari Community

The federal electorate of Lingiari has an approximate area of 1,348,000 km².

It is comprised of 127 suburbs including Alice Springs, Alpurrurulam, Alyangula, Amoonguna, Ampilatwatja, Angurugu, Araluen, Areyonga, Arumbera, Atitjere, Barunga, Batchelor, Bees Creek, Belyuen, Berry Springs, Beswick, Binjari, Black Jungle, Borroloola, Braitling, Bulman Weemol, Camp Creek, Canteen Creek, Ciccone and Collett Creek plus parts of another 9 suburbs.

It is comprised of 82 localities including Acacia Hills, Adelaide River, Ali Curung, Anatye, Anmatjere, Arnold, Beswick Creek, Birdum, Bradshaw, Buchanan, Burrundie, Burt Plain, Bynoe, Calvert, Charlotte, Chilla Well, Claravale, Coomalie Creek, Cossack, Costello, Creswell, Daly River, Darwin River, Darwin River Dam and Davenport plus parts of another 15 localities.

It is comprised of the councils of Alice Springs, Alyangula, Barkly Region, Belyuen Shire, Central Desert Region, Coomalie Shire, Cox-daly, East Arnhem Region, Katherine, Macdonnell Region, Marrakai-dougla, Nhulunbuy, Roper Gulf Region, Tiwi Islands Region, Victoria Daly Region, Wagait Shire, West Arnhem Region, West Daly Region and Yulara plus parts of Litchfield.

It is comprised of the state electorates of Araluen, Braitling, Goyder, Katherine, Namatjira and Stuart plus parts of Arafura, Arnhem, Barkly, Daly, Nelson and Nhulunbuy.

It is surrounded by the federal electorates of Durack, Grey, Kennedy, Maranoa, O'connor and Solomon.
