Maranoa Community

The federal electorate of Maranoa has an approximate area of 730,000 km².

It is comprised of 227 suburbs including Alice Creek, Allan, Allora, Amiens, Applethorpe, Aramac, Back Plains, Baking Board, Bapaume, Barker Creek Flat, Beelbee, Benair, Benarkin, Benarkin North, Berat, Blackbutt, Blackbutt North, Blackbutt South, Blaxland, Bony Mountain, Boonarga, Broadwater, Brooklands, Bullcamp and Canningvale plus parts of another 13 suburbs.

It is comprised of 332 localities including Adavale, Alpha, Amby, Anduramba, Auburn, Augathella, Baffle West, Bakers Bend, Ballandean, Ballaroo, Bangall, Barakula, Barcaldine, Barcaldine Downs, Bargunyah, Barramornie, Barringun, Bayrick, Beaufort, Bedourie, Beebo, Begonia, Beilba, Bell and Billa Billa plus parts of another 9 localities.

It is comprised of the councils of Balonne, Barcaldine, Barcoo, Blackall-tambo, Bulloo, Diamantina, Goondiwindi, Longreach, Maranoa, Murweh, Paroo, Quilpie, Southern Downs, Western Downs and Winton plus parts of South Burnett and Toowoomba Region.

It is comprised of the state electorates of Southern Downs and Warrego plus parts of Callide, Condamine, Gregory and Nanango.

It is surrounded by the federal electorates of Blair, Capricornia, Flynn, Grey, Groom, Kennedy, Lingiari, New England, Parkes, Wide Bay and Wright.
