Cassowary Coast Community

Cassowary Coast Council has an approximate area of 16,000 km².

It is comprised of 106 suburbs including Bamboo Creek, Basilisk, Belvedere, Bingil Bay, Birkalla, Bombeeta, Boogan, Bulgun, Camp Creek, Cardstone, Cardwell, Carmoo, Carruchan, Coconuts, Comoon Loop, Cooroo Lands, Coorumba, Coquette Point, Cowley, Cowley Creek, Cullinane, Currajah, Daradgee, Daveson and Dingo Pocket plus parts of another 3 suburbs.

It is comprised of the localities of Bilyana, Cowley Beach, Damper Creek, Dunk, Gulngai, Hinchinbrook, Kooroomool, Kurrimine Beach, Lumholtz, Mamu, Murray Upper, Rockingham and Walter Hill plus parts of Wooroonooran .

It is surrounded by the councils of Cairns, Hinchinbrook and Tablelands.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Hill and Hinchinbrook.

It is comprised of parts of the Kennedy federal electorate.
