Grant District Community

Grant Council has an approximate area of 1,900 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Allendale East, Blackfellows Caves, Cape Douglas, Carpenter Rocks, Caveton, Compton, Dismal Swamp, Donovans, Eight Mile Creek, German Creek, Glenburnie, Mil-lel, Moorak, Nene Valley, Ob Flat, Pelican Point, Pleasant Park, Port Macdonnell, Racecourse Bay, Square Mile, Tarpeena, Wandilo, Wye and Yahl plus parts of 4 suburbs including Burrungule, Suttontown, Wepar and Worrolong.

It is comprised of the localities of Caroline, Gambier, Kongorong, Macdonnell, Mingbool and Mount Schank plus parts of Benara, Blanche, Canunda, Tantanoola and Young.

It is surrounded by the councils of Glenelg Shire, Mount Gambier City and Wattle Range.

It is comprised of parts of the Mount Gambier state electorate.

It is within the federal electorate of Barker.
