Barker Community

The federal electorate of Barker has an approximate area of 64,000 km².

It is comprised of 201 suburbs including Allendale East, Angas Valley, Angaston, Annadale, Apamurra, Ashville, Avoca Dell, Barmera, Beaumonts, Berri, Bethany, Big Bend, Black Hill, Blackfellows Caves, Bolto, Bordertown South, Brenda Park, Buckingham, Burrungule, Cadell Lagoon, Caloote, Cape Douglas, Cape Jaffa, Carew and Carpenter Rocks plus parts of another 18 suburbs.

It is comprised of 263 localities including Alawoona, Allen, Allenby, Angas, Anna, Archibald, Auld, Avenue Range, Bagot, Bakara, Bakara Well, Baker, Bandon, Bangham, Beachport, Beatty, Beeamma, Benara, Bews, Billiatt, Binnum, Blackford, Blanche, Blanchetown and Bonney plus parts of another 21 localities.

It is comprised of the councils of Coorong District, Grant District, Karoonda East Murray District, Kingston District, Loxton Waikerie District, Mid Murray, Mount Gambier City, Naracoorte Lucindale, Renmark Paringa, Robe District, Southern Mallee District, Tatiara District, The Berri Barmera, The Rural City Of Murray Bridge, Uia Riverland and Wattle Range plus parts of Pastoral and The Barossa.

It is comprised of the state electorates of Chaffey, Mackillop and Mount Gambier plus parts of Hammond, Kavel and Schubert.

It is surrounded by the federal electorates of Farrer, Grey, Mallee, Mayo, Parkes, Wakefield and Wannon.
