Southern Mallee District Community

Southern Mallee Council has an approximate area of 5,700 km².

It is comprised of the localities of Allenby, Bews, Cotton, Day, Geranium, Karte, Lameroo, Parilla, Parrakie, Pinnaroo and Quirke plus parts of Billiatt, Carcuma, Fisk, Jabuk, Kingsford, Ngarkat, Peebinga and Price.

It is surrounded by the councils of Coorong District, Karoonda East Murray District, Loxton Waikerie District, Mildura Rural City and Tatiara District.

It is within the state electorate of Chaffey.

It is within the federal electorate of Barker.
