Southern Midlands Community

Southern Midlands Council has an approximate area of 2,600 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Andover, Antill Ponds, Baden, Bagdad, Broadmarsh, Dysart, Elderslie, Jericho, Kempton, Mangalore, Mount Seymour, Parattah, Pawtella, Rhyndaston, Stonor, Swanston, Tiberias, Tunnack, Whitefoord and York Plains plus parts of 14 suburbs including Apsley, Black Hills, Brighton, Dromedary and Levendale.

It is comprised of the localities of Colebrook, Oatlands, Stonehenge and Woodbury plus parts of Campania, Interlaken, Lemont and Melton Mowbray.

It is surrounded by the councils of Brighton, Central Highlands, Clarence City, Derwent Valley, Glamorgan-spring Bay, Northern Midlands and Sorell.

It is within the state electorate of Lyons.

It is within the federal electorate of Lyons.
