Northern Midlands Community

Northern Midlands Council has an approximate area of 5,100 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Bishopsbourne, Blackwood Creek, Breadalbane, Cleveland, Devon Hills, Evandale, Perth, Poatina, Powranna, Toiberry and Western Junction plus parts of Bracknell, Liffey, Relbia, Tunbridge and White Hills.

It is comprised of the localities of Avoca, Ben Lomond, Campbell Town, Conara, Cressy, Deddington, Epping Forest, Longford, Nile and Ross plus parts of Blessington, Lake Leake, Lake Sorell, Lemont, Millers Bluff, Rossarden, Royal George and Tooms Lake.

It is surrounded by the councils of Break O'day, Central Highlands, Glamorgan-spring Bay, Launceston City, Meander Valley and Southern Midlands.

It is within the state electorate of Lyons.

It is within the federal electorate of Lyons.
