Casey Council has an approximate area of 400 km².

It is comprised of 26 suburbs including Berwick, Blind Bight, Botanic Ridge, Cannons Creek, Clyde, Clyde North, Cranbourne, Cranbourne East, Cranbourne North, Cranbourne South, Cranbourne West, Devon Meadows, Doveton, Endeavour Hills, Eumemmerring, Hallam, Hampton Park, Harkaway, Junction Village, Lynbrook, Lysterfield South, Narre Warren, Narre Warren North, Narre Warren South and Tooradin plus parts of another 3 suburbs.

It is surrounded by the councils of Cardinia Shire, Frankston City, Greater Dandenong City, Knox City, Mornington Peninsula Shire and Yarra Ranges Shire.

It is comprised of the state electorates of Cranbourne, Narre Warren North and Narre Warren South plus parts of Bass, Dandenong, Gembrook and Hastings.

It is comprised of the federal electorate of Holt plus parts of Flinders and La Trobe.
