Loddon Shire Community

Loddon Council has an approximate area of 6,700 km².

It is comprised of 64 suburbs including Arnold, Arnold West, Auchmore, Barraport West, Bears Lagoon, Berrimal, Borung, Brenanah, Bridgewater, Bridgewater North, Bridgewater On Loddon, Burkes Flat, Campbells Forest, Canary Island, Catumnal, Cochranes Creek, Derby, Fentons Creek, Fernihurst, Fiery Flat, Gladfield, Glenalbyn, Inglewood, Jungaburra and Kamarooka North plus parts of another 26 suburbs.

It is comprised of the localities of Barraport, Boort, Calivil, Dingee, Durham Ox, Jarklin, Pyramid Hill, Serpentine and Wedderburn plus parts of Bealiba, Buckrabanyule, Kamarooka, Leitchville, Macorna, Mitiamo, Raywood and Shelbourne.

It is surrounded by the councils of Buloke Shire, Campaspe Shire, Central Goldfields Shire, Gannawarra Shire, Greater Bendigo City, Mount Alexander Shire and Northern Grampians Shire.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Bendigo East, Murray Plains and Ripon.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Bendigo and Murray.
