Greater Bendigo City Community

Greater Bendigo Council has an approximate area of 3,000 km².

It is comprised of 59 suburbs including Argyle, Ascot, Avonmore, Axe Creek, Axedale, Bagshot, Bagshot North, Barnadown, Bendigo, Big Hill, California Gully, Costerfield, Derrinal, Drummartin, Eaglehawk, Eaglehawk North, East Bendigo, Emu Creek, Eppalock, Epsom, Flora Hill, Fosterville, Golden Gully, Golden Square and Hunter plus parts of another 9 suburbs.

It is comprised of the localities of Elmore, Goornong and Heathcote plus parts of Kamarooka, Mia Mia, Raywood, Shelbourne and Toolleen.

It is surrounded by the councils of Campaspe Shire, Loddon Shire, Mitchell Shire, Mount Alexander Shire and Strathbogie Shire.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Bendigo East, Bendigo West and Euroa.

It is within the federal electorate of Bendigo.
