Moira Shire Community

Moira Council has an approximate area of 4,000 km².

It is comprised of 41 suburbs including Almonds, Bathumi, Bearii, Boomahnoomoonah, Boosey, Boweya North, Bundalong, Bundalong South, Burramine, Burramine South, Cobram, Cobram East, Drumanure, Esmond, Invergordon, Kaarimba, Katamatite East, Koonoomoo, Lake Rowan, Lower Moira, Muckatah, Mundoona, Mywee, Naring and Pelluebla plus parts of another 2 suburbs.

It is comprised of the localities of Barmah, Katamatite, Katunga, Kotupna, Nathalia, Numurkah, Picola, Strathmerton, Tungamah, Yalca and Yielima.

It is surrounded by the councils of Benalla Rural City, Berrigan, Campaspe Shire, Federation, Greater Shepparton City, Indigo Shire, Murray River and Wangaratta Rural City.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Ovens Valley and Shepparton.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Indi and Murray.
